Marlborough District Council is proud to be associated with the Reduce your Rubbish campaign.

Marlborough District Council operates and supports a range of waste minimisation programmes from providing discount vouchers for worm farms, plus regular free worm-farming seminars, piloting the Sustainable Households Programme and supporting The Recycling Centre.

The Sustainable Households programme encourages people to take a little action around their homes to help sustain our environment. Information and practical ideas are given on six topics, which include waste, shopping, gardening, energy, water and travel.

Environmental education

Marlborough District Council runs a waste minimisation and environmental programme. Within this, there are education programmes for schools and school age children with most programmes being curriculum linked where possible: Enviro education
